For over 40 years, our laboratories have been developing cutting-edge dermocosmetic solutions, producing innovative formulas and revolutionary beauty treatments for professionals in the beauty industry and their clients. Our founder, Dr. Vittorino Bortolin — one of Italy’s most renowned cosmetologists, researchers in botanical pharmacology, and creator of numerous cosmetic and pharmaceutical products — established the botanical vocation that remains at the heart of everything Histomer does. Together with Valetudo’s long experience in the dermatological field, this forms the strong foundation of the Histomer brand.

Histomer was the first brand in the world to study the applications of stem cell cultures of botanical origin in the field of beauty treatment. As early as the final decades of the last century, in cooperation with Histo-lab laboratories in Geneva, Histomer developed the first product lines made with plant stem cells, accompanied by specific protocols for treating the most common skin imperfections. Since then, we have continued to provide the most prestigious beauty institutes in Italy and all over the world with hundreds of products based on the regenerating and revitalising virtues of stem cells of botanical origin.
