A very high protection sunscreen from Histomer, the Italian clinical skincare brand, formulated specifically for sensitive, reactive, and sun-intolerant skin. The Histan Sensitive formula goes beyond standard sun protection: it combines photostable UVA, UVB, and Blue Light filters with a soothing and repairing active complex to protect and care for the most delicate skin conditions simultaneously. Who it is designed for

This is not a general-purpose sunscreen. It is specifically formulated for:

• Sensitive and reactive skin prone to redness, irritation, or sun intolerance
• Skin affected by rosacea or couperose — conditions where UV exposure triggers visible flushing and capillary damage
• Areas of vitiligo — depigmented skin has no natural UV protection and requires very high SPF coverage
• Post-procedure skin — after laser, chemical peels, or other treatments that leave skin temporarily sensitized
• Skin around moles and scars — areas that require extra protection from UV-induced damage
• Small children — gentle enough for pediatric use
• Anyone with a history of sun allergies or photodermatitis

Protection system

• SPF50 UVB filters — Block the UV rays responsible for sunburn and surface skin damage. SPF50 blocks approximately 98% of UVB radiation.
• UVA filters (photostable) — Protect against the deeper-penetrating rays responsible for premature aging, pigmentation, and long-term DNA damage. Photostable means the filters do not degrade in sunlight and maintain efficacy throughout the day.
• Blue Light filters — Protection against high-energy visible light from screens and sunlight, which contributes to oxidative stress and pigmentation — particularly relevant for urban and indoor use.

Soothing and repairing actives

• Skin-soothing complex — Calms reactive skin, reduces redness, and minimizes the inflammatory response triggered by UV exposure. Particularly effective for rosacea and couperose-prone skin.

Why SPF50 matters in the UAE

The UAE UV Index regularly reaches 10–11+ (extreme) from April through October. At these levels, unprotected skin can begin to burn in under 10 minutes. For sensitive skin, the threshold is even lower. SPF50 with broad-spectrum UVA/UVB coverage is the minimum recommended protection for daily outdoor use in this climate,  and for sensitive or reactive skin, it is non-negotiable.
